imho it totally depends on the recall campaign, and that is long gone, there shouldn't be any N54s that didn't go through it, short of a hermit keeping it in his garage and somehow deciding to drive it now. They were very careful about going beyond the HPFP, some cars had the LPFS replaced, and some injectors as well. With the injectors, their barcodes were scanned to determine eligibility for replacement, it wasn't willy-nilly. My car is an early '07 and the only thing it got was the hpfp. I have never had a hpfp issue so I was leery about doing anything, but I did the recall and nothing happened. That was what, 1 1/2 yrs. ago??
