What exact coding is involved I am not sure but mine was coded to the car like my mechanic said. (I think just to code with NCS empty/blank file to set to default VO)

So I couldn't swap this out then take it to an Indy and have them code it? Or will the car be inop as soon as I swap it out. I would have to verify that this is the correct part# for my car.
