Evolution Racewerks is AWESOME! (plus FMIC review)

I went to ER to get a FMIC and Chargepipe+BOV for my E90 335i. First of all, when I called and wanted more information, Christine from ER was MORE than happy to answer all of my questions.

I went to ER right when they opened, and it was nice of them to be expecting me, and was greeted when I got out my car. They have a waiting room with a couch and TV, and I was told that it would take about 1.5-2 hours to install. I talked to Christine a little bit about their track car and how it has every off-the-shelf item that ER makes for the N54 engine with nothing super custom on their track car, so that reassured me that these people know what they are doing and that their FMIC was meant to perform since they have real life test data. Before I knew it, 2 hours passed by, and I had my E90 back.

I run the Cobb AccessPort+ so I turned it up to stage 1+ since I only had Intake, FMIC, and Chargepipe+BOV at the time. But Lord Jesus, the torque and power differences were definitely felt! I was definitely able to feel the extra kick my car had (plus the nice "woosh" sound is cool too). Actually, I took my car the following weekend to the Pacific BMW and MFEST AccessoryFest event so that I could run my car on the dyno (heck, it was free so why not). I was watching the numbers of all the M3's (no supercharged ones, just bolt on's) and I was Impressed with their numbers. So when I dyno'd my car, I was really surprised the numbers my car produced. Of course, I was sad to see my car making 20-30 hp less than the M3's, but I was able to produce 408 lb/ft torque to the wheels! Holy crap! Because of my torque numbers, I was able to win their dyne trophy, and I can't help but think it was all because of the ER FMIC and chargepipe (well plus the Cobb obv).

Well, without further ado, here's some pictures I was able to take of my car plus the dyno sheet)
