Looking to perform my first ATF change on my '08 328i this weekend. Used the guide at (
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573490) to buy all the parts. One thing Im confused on is the guide mentions replacing the filter "o-ring" yet I don't see an O-ring in any of the parts I got. The only thing that I did get was this weird black plastic piece thats about a 1/4" tall and the same diameter as the filter neck. Is that the "o-ring"?
