How much does it cost you guys a year for maintenance? Not repair maintenance, but regular maintenance?
I don't know how to do it myself, so I'll have to go to a 3rd party shop, do they charge a lot? My next maintenance is due in 8 months.

They charge 1800 for brakes. Well my local INDY. Friend just got a quote. Searched the parts online and less than 500.00 with OEM parts. So maybe another 200 for installation at most. Everything else is lifetime fluid according to bmw. You will have 2 oil changes done. 160.00 if you have no maintenance package.
700+160. They do sparkplugs at 100k so another 200.
Al in all you have 1200 in maintenance basically by doing this at an INDY. Microfilter 35 bucks. Air filter is like 40 bucks.
Its up to you but I do my oil changes every 5k.
