The Atlanta Dragway has terrible track prep on the night they let the public come in to race, and I haven't been able to break below 13 seconds there because I can't get traction. There is another track fairly close to Atlanta called Silver Dollar Raceway where they have much better track maintenance. I can pull a 12.5 there on street tires and my best time in my sig was on slicks there at that track.
My car has the power to pull high 11s, but I can't drive for shit. The guy that built my car has one with pretty much the exact same power as mine, but with a much better suspension and about 700lbs of weight reduction, that runs in the 9s.

I run Nitto Drag Radials at the track and in the summer. They will do wonders for traction.
