Marc, have a word with Jerome (Speedtrap) and see how he did his, I don't recall his tips sticking out quite as far.
Shortening the pipes that go into the rear of each box looks a challenge as there is a twist in the pipe very close to each box. The mountings should be relatively easy to sort out, but the pain of doing it might not be worth it, especially if
YOU are happy with it.
