Very true. The only problems is that A) he never said they were changed, and i read it that they had 60k on them, and B) he is 'tuned' so its very possible that they are the issue if they have 20k+ miles on them. If the were changed around 45k then your probably right.
Your guess is as good as mine, but if the plugs in fact DO have 60k on them, id replace them ASAP
