I recently installed a set of 19" BBS CHs. The steering wheel shakes when back on forth when I'm driving. The guy at the dealer told me there was probably some 'play' in the hub area; not a perfect fit like BMW OEM wheels. From some searching on the forum, that sounds right. (I don't think it's anything with the balancing since Tirerack balanced them.)

So, do spacers do the same thing as centering rings? Besides pushing the wheel out.

Could the shop that mounted them have done something wrong?

Any ideas?
