Now we are talking specifics...

In the case that you want the OEM system to sound as flat as possible then you will need to know first if your OEM system baseline audio curve is indeed flat or if there is an OEM EQ curve by default that cannot be made flat (EQ settings are just an overlay of that curve).

And to know that for sure you will need a Real Time Analyzer and a white noise generator CD, either for your laptop or by buying any of the RTA apps available for the iPhone or Droids. Run the application after understanding what is capable of doing and how and then adjust your EQ until the output curve is as flat as you can make it.

With the findings of this exercise then we can answer what EQ settings can be used to set the OEM system to flat.
