Resurected this thread instead of starting a new one!
I just got 12.7% off list of my new 335i touring by bringing a broadspeed.net quote in for them to match (cheapest offer as of last week). The dealers beat it by £44 in minutes. Damn should have tried harder!
Spec'd up list price = £44,725 (09 price with 15% VAT)
Broadspeed price = £39,044
Dealer discount price = £39,000
Then went for BMW select PCP over 3yrs / 15k pa / £2.5K deposit and managed to squeeze the payments down by £210 per month over their initial monthly 6.6% apr figure (don't know what final deal rate actually was, just less than 6.6%!) I just told them a max figure that my wife would allow and eventually they got there.
£210 per month reduction x 35 months = £7,350 saving
So I saved £5,725 on the car and £7,350 on an already competitive finance deal!!
£13,075 saving in total - Not bad IMO.
They are desparate!
