I tried last week as well expecting great things but the same as you was a little dissappointed
From what I read in the manual I did think it would start the engine. although I suppse it said dont use two days in a row without moving the car as it can drain the battery.
I was expecting all windows demisted and the car nice and toasty. It felt like full power cold air so just thought I was doing it wrongly.
