The answer is yes, very difficult to put it back into place for both front and back. You might not realize this but that trim piece is held in place by a plastic/rubbery thing underneath it (which you cannot see). If you look at the trim carefully at the end tip, you will see a black thingy that hold the chome piece in place. It is more visible if you are looking at a car with chrome trim. Well, I dont know if you understand from my photo, but the trim piece has a track that slides into a grove on the black plastic piece which is jammed in between the glass panel and the sheet metal. Sliding the trim into the grove on the black plastic piece is not that easy, lots of resistance since it is designed to fit snuggly together. That is the most difficult part of the installation (in my opinion).
