On a motorcycle forum I found a road that connects Livermore and San Jose, Mines Rd. I never been there so I decided to check it out. Man this road is awesome. Just miles of open two lane, sometimes one lane, roads through the country and mountains. This trip covers a good 40 to 50 miles. It took me a little under 2 hours to finish the entire route, with stops.
Here are some pictures I took along the way.

This road isn't for beginners if you want to tackle the turns, there is no room for errors. This road is used by locals and a lot of motorcyclists, so try to look ahead when you can and be courteous when you are out there.

We use to run that route with the Audi club when I coordinated drives for them...nice road..especially when you are lead car in a group of 25 cars...
