I understand how anti-dyno you are... why not use the dyno to prove your point then? Dyno as you are, the same way you make these fast runs (race gas + 17-18 psi) with the stock airbox.
Start really modding your car and dyno again, and then get back on the track.
The comparison will be very interesting.

Sometimes you just have to do things unconventionally. Do you realize all my record breaking runs were done with avoiding the water box and absolutely no warm-up burn out? I just do a light 1/2 second scrub, and I'm off.
You see, I figure with no LSD, you can't evenly heat up the tires anyways.
