I'm starting to think our cars may be sharing a ship.

I have my fingers crossed that our cars stay out of the 'workshop' and do not get marred up in transit. I would hate to get a brand new car that is a repaint.

Now for delivery. There are a few things I am thinking about and have worked with the dealership to insure :

1. My wife's 335i was misaligned on delivery. We found out after damaging tires. This car is going to be racked, checked for alignment, and hard copy provided to me. Alignment and tires are not covered under warranty.

2. The ugly front license plate bracket is not going to be there. I want it in the trunk should I ever resell the car.

3. No dealer stickers or emblems. I do not provide free advertising.

4. The F30's I saw at the dealership had obvious orange peel in the paint. I am expecting a car without orange peel.

5. On a 50k car I get floor mats - and not the rubber ones.

6. The 335i E92 ships with 2 types of tires. I am assured I will have Michelin PS2 ZP tires on her. Stock size.

Once bitten, twice shy. Is there anything else you can think of to add to the list?
