Yes, we go through this with every new generation of model. The previous one is always better. Even the plain old 'odd' looking E90, with minimalist, 'unfocused' interior, is now "somehow" the king...
Most will soon forget, and the crown will move on to the F30.
I use Grassick's BMW at Perth, the owner Colin Grassick is more than the typical BMW garage owner, a true car enthusiast, so oozes BMW. Last time I was down and tried the 328i, he came out to ask my opinion of the new model. We got talking BMW (as we do), now he has been with BMW for years. He told me he has never seen one generation of a model move on so much. He's tracked some of the F30 models with BMW test drivers, and there is no doubt in his mind the F30 is one superb car.
