I had an F30 328 xdrive loaner recently as well. Pros: got used to the styling and the interior quickly. the dash looks quirky but you get used to it (with the nav system the way it is). I liked a little more room inside as well. It was also a way softer ride (i didnt like this). Steering wasn't horrible and is probably something I could live with. The engine is what kills the 328 for me though. On paper the N20 is better in every conceivable way compared to the N52, but it lacks the emotion, the sound, and in the NVH dept it was awful.
If I were to buy an F30 it would be a 335 for sure. However, my next car will be a 2019 M4 for my 30th birthday, and I'm thinking that the X4 would make a nice winter car at that point.
