I checked the aux connector plug wiring. From the underside of the aux socket all the way back to behind the HU. where it slots into the idrive block connector. Examined the wiring as well as the pins etc. Couldn't see anything to suggest faulty wiring and respective pins are seated and connected ok.
Does anyone know if the wires go from aux socket directly to back of HU or is there another join under the center console.
Could it be that something inside the HU is gone wrong?
Any help or suggestions would be great
