120 watts RMS
4 Ohms Subwoofer

What type of amp should I get to power a pair of these subs and how should I wire them? Any preference on brand?
The SWS-8 are a drop in for the OEM enclosure; the Pioneer's are not, so the decision should be easy. I have both in my GTI and I think that the SWS-8 sounds better than the Pioneer's under the same conditions anyway...

An Alpine MRP-M450 could be perfect for those SWS-8: plenty of power in a parallel (2 ohms) configuration (200W RMS to each SWS-8) and small footprint.
