@ MrRetep: yes it's possible to retrofit them but the LCI's have to be modded to function. Also note that only certain steering wheels are compatible with certain paddles. The sports, M-Tech wheels are compatible with SSG and SMG LCI. the M wheel is only compatible with SMG pre-LCI paddles.

When you have the car in D and operate the paddle, what exactly happens on the display and on the baseplate? Does the baseplate illuminate D and DS or just D or just DS? Also, how many seconds does it take for the transmission to shift back into normal D if the paddle is operated once in D mode?
Pictures or even better a quick video would be greatly appreciated
