So I'm going to start with my car. It's a 09 e92 335i premium, sport, nav, harmon/Kardon, logic7, with iPod option on the window sticker(forgot exactly what it's called). I bought my car used and there were no cables/docks/snap-in/etc. I assume the previous owner kept it. I've been reading all over the forums and searching away and am totally lost. I'm confused because I've read that I need the "y-cable" and then I only need the iPod USB. I thought the iPod was supposed to rest in the glove box, but wouldn't I have to plug the y cable in the center console? I have the USB and aux in the center console as well as the USB in the glove box. Thanks in advance for any help/info and sorry if this has already been asked.
