I don't think that's dirt by the shifter. But i will take a look and double check. BTW the ride is not so harsh but you do feel bumps and imperfections in the road. If you hit a pothole going 30 mph your tire is gone. Unless you always drive on perfect roads your going to bubble at least 2 tires with this car. I have already blown 4!
