I actually just got rid of a manual and picked up a 335i for a "family car", as we have a little one on the way.

Normally I would instantly start modding and changing things, but like you said, all money goes to childcare saving, investment etc.. Getting older definitely changes things, but the joy that children bring is more than worth it!

There will be time for project cars later in life.



Edit - regarding prices. I just picked up a Space Grey 2011 335i performance edition w/ 54k, for 17,999. I added a 3 year fidelity bumper to bumper warranty, so it came out to around 21k total. It has nav, premium pkg, sport package, performance pack etc..
