AFAIK, Autologic does not support coding/programming of a used DME into a different car - already tried that with other cars. The CAS, DME, and keys need to be swapped completely, but I don't know whether that causes any other VIN problems, which I suspect it would when reading info off the DME and CAS.
Diode repair would be an easy thing to do with the info that Roy Cormier posted here. You could also send the DME to Auto Truck Electronics in TN:
