I just did the exact steps last night, and successfully removed my JB4. Unfortunately, i am not a handy man and it still took me about 2 hours to complete. However, i am so glad that I found the "USB" method to allow me to unplug those connectors

If anyone else is fighting with those connectors, basically stick an usb to keep the tab disengaged and pull them out - BINGO!!
