I've been reading more about lugging the engine which mostly involves driving around in low rpms. When I drive my 335i I shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear at 1.5-2k rpm, and when I get up to speed I usually cruise around at 1.5k or 2k rpm. Is this bad for the engine? I feel like it's not but it seems like from what I'm reading it maybe harmful to the engine?
