Third visit in for long crank, stalling, surging idle and exhaust/turbo rattle. Just had my HPFP changed (@ 2,400 miles) for the long crank (and stalling). No check engine light and now BMW shadows the fault codes for this concern. As for the surging idle and exhaust rattles they've informed me that a software update is forth coming.
Just thought I'd share my experience so far with the long crank on the N55.
