The title of this thread has nothing to do with the pics...absolutely nothing.
If you use fully synthetic oil and you change it every 3-5k miles, that is a complete waste of money, but it sure buys you some piece of mind. However I do change the oil on my car once a year independently the mileage. (always less than 7.5k/year)
