You're missing the point... now those who did not complain are eligible for a new HPFP (in most cases if they have one prior to March 2010 production) or atleast BMW taking a look at their cars. This cost $$$ to BMW. They did not issue the recall till now cuz it made business sense.... now when their reputation is at stake and toyota was publically crucified, they dont want to take the risk.

Its a shame on BMW for taking this long to do the right thing... I'm glad that GMA did a story and got a reaction out of them.
