I'm not very old, but I've lived in different states, and I recall property taxes on cars in VA, CT, MA, and NH. What does the Boston Tea Party have to do with anything? We live in the present, not in some documentary on the History Channel.
That's the thing I never thought made sense with leasing, as a renter, you have all the responsibilities of an owner, but the money you pay never gets applied towards ownership.
