NO, don't ditch the rears! You will lose an important feature of L7!
CH1&2: Front mids/tweeters using Jehnert x-overs
CH3&4: Jehnerts midbasses in front doors
CH5: Center (buy an L7 or HiFi (dependling on your system) tweeter from BMW and add it, trust me!)
CH6&7: Connect OEM speakers in rear doors and rear deck in parallel or series. Parallel if they are 4ohm (HiFi), series if they are 2ohm (Logic7).
CH8: Sub
