What happened after chaging the plug? Did you get the code on a different cylinder or same one?
Bmminiparts are cheaper with OEM parts.
You can find them cheaper on e-bay / GSF car parts / Euro car parts, but onus is on you to take that risk, especially when difference would be £10-20 pounds.
After changing the coil, reset the ecu or clear all the codes to avoid any further confusion.
