The BBS LM's have been in storage for over a year now,
deep in storage at LTMW. Hidden in boxes, in the abyss, the set
of LM's have been waiting, screaming in silence, to once again romp the streets of Los Angeles.
Reality was that i've been cheating on my LMs with
the BBS GT4 RE wheels. The LM's younger sister.
And the LM's were left on pause.
Not forgetting my original intentions for the LM's.
She received a full restoration, with a little help from friends.
-The LM faces where sent out for a brushed face restore. ( a b'day present earlier this year.)
-BBS LM face imprint filled with gold paint (subtle detail)
-Clear coat on the brush'd face
-The og barrels where sent out to be polished on the outer lips
rainbow bbs clear gone.
-New bbs hardware from Germany

19x9.5 et25 (face was from 8.5 barrel et32)
19x10 et22/23 (og et25 - was shaved for et30, then reverse lip/face et22)

The wheels were built at the shop, the turn around was quick.
Long and Ivan have their hands busy with the day to day
(and rightfully so) and I will yield til the evening most of the time
for help.
At one point when the rear wheels were mounted the faces were
set to the front of the barrel. - Ivan ask'd why i didn't put
the faces in the rear. [It had been so long, i remembered having
265/30 tires in the rear but indeed i had 245/35.]
Faces were quickly reversed and i started to grin from ear to ear.
wow.
since my first setup with the diamond black face lm's on
the 2011 e90. This wheel finish feels right, brush face - polished
lips - black lm caps. It's not the most aggressive wheel fitment
but it's a wheel fitment I can turn to my buddy's and say "yeh"
just right.
These LM's are done.
I may run these LMs sparingly.
