I found that my piano black interior was getting marked too easily (any excuse) so I wrapped it with CF black bought from ebay. Used the 3M stuff, slightly more expensive than some others but has a really good reputation and was genuinely very easy to work with.
Took me the good part of a day to do the whole car but I'm chuffed with the end result, and I am USELESS at this type of thing. Like everyone else says, just take your time, practice on a simple piece and it'll be worth it.
