As the other guys mentioned...the race gas used during the video was just to maintain timing without any corrections...essentially let it perform to the best of its capabilities...
And at this time there were no public race gas or E85 maps available...so those running COBB had no choice for higher octane maps while everyone else non-COBB was running piggybacks with race gas and/or meth...had to try to at least perform at maximum to even attempt to compete with the other cars..
