I changed my own oil too. 1st time ever and it was on my e90. Not very hard and cheaper than most..If you have ramps or jack stands your good to go. Remove little drain bolt cover. Undo the drain bolt, drain the fluid, remove the filter, replace rubber o-rings in filter housing, replace metal washer on the bolt. refill oil.
