+1. I Did hook the adapter up once to verify that I could read things, was so worried that I messed something up just doing that, that I havent used it since. Also, just doing that caused a low battery warning. I cant afford to buy one of those auxiliary power units and I dont want to be messing up my electrical system with a cheap battery charger, so havent done anything since.
