From what i have read it is not if the car is LCI or pre LCI, it is the paddles. I do not know for certain but i think that only the LCI paddles have resistors, while the DCT and SSG paddles do not.
I have not looked into bms plug and play kit, but perhaps they only offer it for DCT and SSG paddles. Or if they include instructions for modifying LCI paddles.
