I have a thing about mixing passive crossovers with drivers they weren't made for. Every driver has a slightly different impedence curve which varies based on the frequency of the input signal. The passive crossovers are designed specifically for the impedence curve of the driver they were made for. If you use a different driver with that crossover, its likely that the designed crossover point will actually shift due to the varied impedence curve. It might only be a little or it might be enough to make a difference but you'll never know until you try it out.
