Replacement D1S xenon bulbs are the best solution for those who are dissatisfied with the factory BMW xenon headlight color or can be used to replace failed factory xenon headlights at 1/3 the price of the stock lights. Our HID bulbs are a direct replacement for factory HID bulbs with no modification and are available in 3 different color temperatures. 4300K (Warm White), 6000K (Pure White) and 8000K (iridescent blue). The box on the bottom is the ignition element.
Color Temperature is a measurement in Degrees Kelvin that indicates the hue of a light source, in this case the HID bulb. Lower temperatures like 4300k will produce a whitish color while higher color temperatures will output light with a bluish xenon tint.
The D1S headlight bulb can be replaced by removing a cover on the back of the headlight.
The D1S 6000k bulbs are the most popular choice. They are much whiter than the stock 4300K bulbs.
The 8000K are much more iridescent blue xenon color.
