Like others have said. The single player for BF3 is not really what the game is about. Same will be true of the new MW.

I bought BF3 last Friday and couldn't go on line as I was at a friends house so we played and completed the single payer (it was a late one). If I had bought it purely for the single player I would probably feel a bit peeved that I could complete it that quickly.

The reason I got the game was because I loved BF Bad Company 2 online and the online for BF3 doesn't disappoint. Since playing the BF games MW just doesn't do it, it's far too limited in comparison and the games seem to favour the run around like a headless chicken shooting anything that moves techique rather than any kind of tactical cooperation. If I had one criticism of BF3 it would be that there isn't as much variety in the online levels in this version. Not really a problem though as expansion packs will be released.
