It's not a simple work to be honest. I changed mine myself some time ago and it was a PITA. You have to remove intake manifold to get to one of the bolts that holds the housing.
Don't look at the DIY that is in DIY section since it shows either earlier model or N52 engine which has more narrow manifold edges so they can just loosen manifold but still keep it in place while have access to the bolt.
That's not the case with 335i.
For experienced mechanic who already have done that before I'd say it's at least 4 hours job if everything goes smoothly.
