Give it a shot... I heard sometimes they honor a warranty if you was a loyal customer and if it's not a lot of miles after last record they have.
P.S. Inspect it first carefully. I had a lot of leaks in my car LOL
filter housing
valve cover gasket was leaking
oil pan gasket was leaking
and the best part
I lost somewhere the bracket or something that holds the exhaust pipe, so I had oil drips on my cats and saw smoke coming from the engine. That was scary
So inspect it first. oil filter housing leak usually appear here and easily noticeable without need to remove anything:
