Considering I bought the car at Trivtt in sydney I was very impressed with the way they handled this.

hey, congrats on your outcome, that is exactly what they are doing in the UK, as per my previous post, all fixed as goodwill instead of warranty, due to legalities.

whilst i agree that the RFT's are rubbish, wouldn't having a softer sidewall as on the normal tires transfer more of the impact to the alloy?
