Mines been doing this for some time now and as soon as I notice it misbehaving I drive it hard a couple of times and it pretty much stays away, we'll has done for the last year anyway!
My daily commute is about 25 miles each way of mainly city driving and it only takes a few hard accelerations each journey to stop it from adapting to economy mode or whatever it slips into!!
