Take the check valve hose off and inspect the valve in side the hose. Mine was stuck and not closing during non-turbo mode. It was causing engine consume 1 qt oil every 400 miles. How to inspect: look into the hose and flip the hose up side down you should see the valve flipper close and open if it, s in working condition.
I replaced the hose, it seems to have fixed the oil consumption problem. . Knock on tree..

that would have caused crank case pressure, the pressures would go to weakest point (oil drain)...turbo doesn't drain properly and burns oil.
