I had the same setup on my car a little ways back...

I hit a pothole one time (damn 57 Freeway) and one of the rear spring perches cracked and resulted in my rear right tire rubbing a hole into my fuel tank fill tube which eventually spilled fuel onto my shock which RUINED the seals...

Anyway, long story short I needed a new perch and a new shock. I was the first owner of the coilover kit, so I took it back to the shop where I purchased it and tried to claim the perch and shock under the H&R Warranty... got nowhere. H&R pretty much told me that the damage to the perch was my own fault because the system was meant for "off-road use only" and was not intended to withstand potholes and such. (Its made of aluminum.)

So I called around and ended up having to buy the rear half of a new system from some guy at some shop (which I probably shouldn't tell) and good thing I did too! I broke another perch about a year after.
