Overview
Tomorrow i plan on taking a look at how to remove the backseats on an E92. I was wondering if anyone has attempted this, and if so, how it is done. What i am hoping for is to find a way to unbolt the rear-seats so that it is only a 20-30 minute install/uninstall. I have found some info on removing the actual seat backs on this thread

The obvious answer is weight reduction. The other answers is boredom
Im just curious as to how difficult it will be, and also how much weight can be saved if done. I dont track the car or race it, but im curious as to how much weight can be slimmed down by removing the rear-seats that, in effect, are useless.
Ill post up a DIY if i find anything of value, and probably make a nice video. But for now, has anyone done this? If so, can the rear interior be taken out without harming the materials/seats? Im not looking at my interior right now, so i cant plan anything out yet.
