Just FYI, there's no longer a Coffee and Rides (Cars and Coffee) in San Antonio - but, there IS a monthly car meet similar to C&C at The Rim Shopping Center (north of 1604 on I-10 at La Cantera Drive) on the 2nd Saturday from 7AM to 10:30AM in front of Lowes (north end of the center). It's adjacent to several restaurants, Lowes has plenty of restroom capacity, and San Antonio PD is on site to make sure nobody gets out of line and ruins things like they did for Coffee and Rides (the event was asked to leave its North Central shopping center location). It's a long trek from Ft. Hood, but a good meet - next event is September 14.
